There’s plenty to do in Nashua, and July is no exception. Make the most of the warm weather in 2015 with these local attractions:
- Greeley Park
- Graffiti Paintbar
- Mine Falls Park
- SkyVenture
- Incredibrew
If fun in the sun is on your Summer 2015 itinerary, a visit to Greeley Park is a must. Play tennis, watch a softball game or gather friends and bring a net for some volleyball. Want to relax? Let the kids escape the July heat in a wading pool, then hit the horseshoe court or take a leisurely stroll. The park is also ideal for picnics and barbecues.

Graffiti Paintbar is the perfect spot for date night, bachelorette parties or rainy July days. Local artists teach painting in small groups in a relaxed, friendly setting over wine, beer, appetizers and coffee. Paint a predetermined work of art or do your own thing. Guests at all skill levels will have a great time, and kids are always welcome.

Looking for a relaxing place to exercise this July? Mine Falls Park connects several areas of Nashua, making it a natural choice for running, biking and walking. Or bring the family for a day of fishing! The park, which includes a 19th-century gatehouse, is part of the New Hampshire Heritage Trail system stretching from Massachusetts to Canada.

Summer entertainment doesn’t have to happen outdoors. Sometimes, the weather just won’t cooperate. Whether it’s raining or the sun’s rays are a little too intense, an indoor break can be just what you need. In 2015, we’re lucky to have SkyVenture New Hampshire as an alternative. Adventure sports are transported indoors with options like skydiving, surfing, rock climbing and a water slide. SkyVenture’s friendly staff is always there for instruction and to ensure safety.

For many of us, there’s no better way to cool off than with a cold beer. Make it yourself for an even better — and more affordable — experience at Nashua’s own Incredibrew. Even the kids can get it on the action by brewing the old-fashioned soda that’s so popular in 2015. Wine drinkers will be happy to learn they can make their own vino as well. No experience is required, and special events are always on the schedule.
