Nashua’s Best New Restaurants

Posted on: June 29th, 2015 | Posted in Local Dentist

Nashua boasts some pretty impressive eats, and the offerings just keep getting better. 2015 promises to be a great year for area foodies – and those who just want to experience quality dining close to home. Give your taste buds a treat by trying out one of these new spots this June:

  • Pig Tale Restaurant
  • Sub Zero Ice Cream and Yogurt

Some places sell pizza and wings. Others offer fare that transcends the ordinary, becoming serious Pizza Destinations in the process. Pig Tale Restaurant falls into the latter category. This Nashua restaurant just opened in June but is already producing quite a buzz, thanks to its wood-fired pizzas made to crispy perfection. Even chicken wings at Pig Tale are given the wood-fired treatment for the ultimate in flavor, juiciness and texture. A creative cocktail menu and large selection of craft beers make it easy to enhance your meal with the ideal beverage. You’ll love the atmosphere at this new eatery as well. An eclectic mix of industrial finishes and rustic touches provides an urban atmosphere that feels just right for 2015. Service is warm and friendly yet professional and polished, and the bar is a great spot for drinks with friends.

Sub Zero Ice Cream and Yogurt isn’t your average ice cream shop. The Salt Lake City-based franchise employs a patented technique of flash-freezing ice cream using only liquid nitrogen. Their cooling method isn’t the only thing that’s unique about Sub Zero, though. To start, you have your choice of the following ice cream styles:

  • Original
  • Custard
  • Low-Fat
  • Frozen Yogurt
  • Lactose-Free
  • Vegan
  • Sugar-Free

The gluten-intolerant among us will be happy to know that all frozen options are gluten-free as well. In addition to a wealth of cream styles, the ice cream store serves up dozens of flavors and toppings. Adding to the excitement is the fact that your customizable ice cream or froyo will be made in front of your eyes. If your 2015 resolutions included getting out and supporting Nashua businesses, you’ve just found your excuse for eating ice cream this June.
