Since the onset of COVID-19, we’ve all had to take a much more critical look at infection prevention and control measures. And while the availability of a vaccine can help to minimize the impact of COVID-19 for those who get it, the number of new COVID-19 cases is on the rise in Nashua and across New Hampshire. We know that many are worn down by long stretches of isolation and limited access to social gatherings, but it is critical that we remain vigilant and aware of the risks of cross-contamination.
At Nashua Dental Group, the health and safety of our patients remain our number one priority. We therefore remain committed to maintaining the highest level of precautions and COVID safety measures. In addition to always following the recommended guidelines of the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for creating the safest environment for patient care possible, we have also heavily invested in new equipment and processes following the onset of COVID-19.
For the same reasons of safety and infection prevention and control, we will continue to ask patients to call when they arrive and have them enter when the waiting area is clear. We will also continue the practice of asking patients to complete a COVID screening form and have their temperature taken upon arrival.
We understand that to some these additional steps may feel like an inconvenience, but we hope you can all appreciate that for the team at Nashua Dental Group, no steps of precaution is too great for the well-being of our staff and patients.
