St. Patrick’s day is right around the corner, and with the holiday itself falling on a Saturday this year, everyone young and old will be looking to celebrate.
Here are just a few of the wonderful St. Patrick’s day events you’ll find in and around Nashua, NH.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
This year’s St. Patrick’s day parade in Manchester is actually a week late – Sunday, March 25. But that shouldn’t stop you from enjoying the music, dancing, and laughs sure to be featured in this year’s parade. Make sure to bring the whole family.
2nd Annual Great Shamrock 5K
The second annual Great Shamrock 5K starts at 9:30 on St. Patrick’s day morning. The race originates from Nashua High South (in front of the rotunda), and proceeds will benefit Nashua South track and field programs.
Save the Guinness until after the race!
The Peddler’s Daughter
Starting at 8AM on St Patrick’s day, The Peddler’s Daughter Irish Restaurant and Pub in Nashua will be serving ‘Kegs & Eggs’ and traditional Irish breakfast. Come early for breakfast and a brew, and stay for the live music … three live bands will play throughout the day, as well as a special appearance by the NH Police Associate Pipes and Drums.
